$25,530 with 4x4, the 5.7 Hemi and in a good color. It’s too bad my local dealer doesn’t have any like this at that price point, or else I’d be right there.

Well, it’s large ... fuel inefficient. Spacious, blue ... I’m running out of things to say ....

And a large grill, and ... an exaggerated hood for what’s underneath, I think. Eeeesh ... this is not easy.

That’s pretty cheap man. Have it transfered from that dealer to your local one for pickup.

Hold out for an Ecodiesel. If you're sold on a Ram, you may as well get the best engine.

Nah, I want the Hemi.
If I was going to get a diesel, it would be in the form of a Cummins Ram 2500.

Never that far, hah.
I just want to get rid of it, buy something I actually like driving and lose as little money as possible...

Yup, I’ve come to accept that the resale on these cars is complete shit (For the lack of a better term.)
I was about to have a giant rant about this car, but I’ll refrain.

I actually sat down and calculated how much money I’ve “lost” on cars in the last six years... I won’t be doing that to myself again.

You’re missing out. The only advantage of the Hemi is the exhaust note. We’ve got a handful of each at work, and the diesels are the quicker truck, all the while getting better mpg than the absolutely gutless 4-banger Colorado’s we picked up a couple months ago.

If the dealer that has the truck wants to sell it they will. Your local dealer will probably transfer (trade) a vehicle back to them. I have never done this, but my dad did this numerous times.
I.e. Buy a car in another state or at a different delear and have the local dealer prep it. Local dealer (small town, 1 for each brand) probably hated him, but they tried to screw him over once. So that was his way of sticking it to them lol.

And that big black plastic piece above the chrome. Always hated that. I’ve seen some dealers actually paint that goofy plastic.

This happened in TX, and I remember a car coming from Colorado and another from Ohio among others...so xcountry may not be out of line.

I like the back up camera suggested line - “just keep going, don’t mind the garden and bushes, you’ll be fine.”

True I guess. We’ve had two of the four take rides back to the dealer, but neither was really the fault of the truck. One was a bad starter motor, supposedly due to being assembled in a humid environment and then taking delivery at -30, freezing broke it the morning after it got here (apparently a common problem) and the other was user error, the driver ignored the dpf-filter-80%-full-drive-me-on-the-highway warning. But both fixes were warrantied, and with 25,000 miles between them so far no other issues. The driver above also refused to use the block heater and dead-cold-starts at -35 haven’t had any noticeable effects yet. He’s not using the truck right now and I’ve been driving it for the last six weeks.

Yes, I do know. And your truck looks awesome. I reread your review on it a couple times.
How does the interior hold up? If I could, I’d have vinyl seats. But that light colored cloth looks like it would stain quite easily.
Also, how’s the power delivery? Does it drive like a truck, or is it kind of a different feel.

The interior is pretty okay, not many complaints. Fit and finish is better than I expected... but at the same time it’s not a luxury car.
Power is smooth and refined... it’s very comfortable and it doesn’t really feel like a truck unless you’re on a rough/unpaved road. You will definitely notice the size when parking, though that’s pretty much true for all fullsize trucks.

Don’t mind it. Works as it should... if you need to shift manually there are buttons on the steering wheel.

There’s some power line trails that I’ve been on before in an old Exploder, seemed fun, but couldn’t go too far because no traction.

Florida does have good roads, except there’s too many old people on them for my liking.
